This week, Richard Green Estate Agents announced a unique event for homeowners and enthusiasts of period property that will be hosted by the company at the Apex in Bury St Edmunds on Sunday 20th August 2017.

In response to requests from clients, they have invited the very best of local experts to provide a one-stop event where owners of historic, listed and period homes can source information, get inspiration and recharge their passion for period living. The event aims to deliver solutions to knotty problems as well as being entertaining and presenting new ideas. From the sawtooth chimney stack, to the flagstones in a cellar, you’ll find it all at The Richard Green Period Homes Event.

David Sayer, director at Richard Green enthused, “By gathering together a team of local experts to provide information, advice and guidance, we hope that visitors can find out more about how to maintain, renovate and restore their property, but more than this, so that they can celebrate and enjoy life in their period home.”

Not only will we be bringing together a wide array of period home experts, we will provide an exciting environment for people to establish contacts and for exhibitors to do some networking. We are excited to be offering an interactive format. Visitors can expect to be impressed by dynamic experiences, demonstrations, and opportunities to meet experts 1 to 1, while exhibitors will benefit from meeting an enthusiastic audience of local, period home owners.” She added “We have been delighted with the response to-date with every exhibitor we have approached grasping the opportunity with great enthusiasm. This exclusive show will bring together the best professionals in the field, enabling exhibitors to showcase their skills and for local homeowners to meet the professionals and craftsmen in person. Working in close association with award winning chartered architects and surveyors, Whitworth, the Richard Green team are in the process of putting together a varied and informative program of talks, demonstrations, Q&A sessions, and meet the expert opportunities to help you bring your project to life. So, for anyone embarking on anything from a huge restoration project, to those who just want to make the most of their period home, this event looks sure to deliver the goods!

Scheduled to be an annual event, at The Apex in Bury St Edmunds, Richard Green have been delighted with the response from exhibitors, as well as interest from customers. As the only local show that brings together all aspects of this sphere, Richard Green Period Homes Event is set to be a great success, with visitors travelling from further afield to be part of it.

We have chosen the Apex, Bury St Edmunds as our venue. It is spacious and has a variety of areas for us to use.  In addition there will be cafe and bar facilities on site.
